Associate Professor Courtney Fung (moderator), Co-Director of the China Strategic Knowledge Initiative at Macquarie University, has 20 years’ experience researching global governance, peace operations and international security with a focus on China's role in the UN system.
Dr Catherine Gascoigne, Macquarie Research Fellow at Macquarie Law School and the Macquarie University Environmental Law Research Centre, is a specialist in international trade including its synergies with energy & environmental sustainability.
Associate Professor Adam Lockyer, Executive Director of the new Macquarie University Geopolitical Risk Research Centre, whose research focuses on the intersection of geopolitics, defence strategy, deterrence, and maritime affairs and recently authored Conventional Maritime Deterrence: The Operational Foundations of Influence at Sea.
Professor Tina Soliman-Hunter, Co-Director of the Macquarie University Transforming Energy Markets Research Centre, has over 25 years’ experience analysing energy law, from advising governments on energy resources and management to her current research on decarbonisation, energy security, carbon capture & storage, and floating nuclear power.
